She always has too be so mature and it’s nice to see that she is getting along with Gigi Hadid because Gigi is a stable and well brought up young lady. I just wanna say how intelligent and professional Cara has been holding herself. Man am I ever impressed by the supermodels these days!

Human trafficking
For the television show, see Human Trafficking (miniseries). For other uses, see Human trafficking (disambiguation).
See also: Slavery
Human trafficking is the trade of humans, most commonly for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others.[1][2] This may encompass providing a spouse in the context of forced marriage,[3][4][5] or the extraction of organs or tissues,[6][7] including for surrogacy and ova removal.[8] Human trafficking can occur within a country or trans-nationally. Human trafficking is a crime against the person because of the violation of the victim’s rights of movement through coercion and because of their commercial exploitation. Human trafficking is the trade in people, especially women and children, and does not necessarily involve the movement of the person from one place to another.
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), forced labor alone (one component of human trafficking) generates an estimated $150 billion in profits per annum as of 2014.[9] In 2012, the I.L.O. estimated that 21 million victims are trapped in modern-day slavery. Of these, 14.2 million (68%) were exploited for labor, 4.5 million (22%) were sexually exploited, and 2.2 million (10%) were exploited in state-imposed forced labor.[10]
Human trafficking is thought to be one of the fastest-growing activities of trans-national criminal organizations.[11]
Human trafficking is condemned as a violation of human rights by international conventions. In addition, human trafficking is subject to a directive in the European Union.[12]

Child abuse
“Child Maltreatment” redirects here. For the journal, see Child Maltreatment (journal).
Child abuse or child maltreatment is physical, sexual, or psychological maltreatment or neglect of a child or children, especially by a parent or other caregiver. Child abuse may include any act or failure to act by a parent or other caregiver that results in actual or potential harm to a child, and can occur in a child’s home, or in the organizations, schools or communities the child interacts with.
The terms child abuse and child maltreatment are often used interchangeably, although some researchers make a distinction between them, treating child maltreatment as an umbrella term to cover neglect, exploitation, and trafficking.
Different jurisdictions have developed their own definitions of what constitutes child abuse for the purposes of removing children from their families or prosecuting a criminal charge.

Skiptrace
Page issues
For the 2016 film, see Skiptrace (film).
Skiptracing (also skip tracing, or debtor and fugitive recovery[1]) is the process of locating a person’s whereabouts for any number of purposes. A skiptracer is someone who performs this task, which may be the person’s primary occupation. The term “skip” (as a noun) refers to the person being searched for, and is derived from the idiomatic expression “to skip town”, meaning to depart (perhaps in a rush), leaving minimal clues behind to “trace” the “skip” to a new location.
Skip tracing tactics may be employed by a debt collector, process server, bail bondsman or bail agency enforcer (bounty hunters), repossession agent, private investigator, lawyer, police detective, journalist, stalker or by any person attempting to locate a subject whose contact information is not immediately known. Similar techniques have also been utilized by investigators to locate witnesses in criminal trials.[citation needed]

Statement by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons
July 30, 2017 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Canada
The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, today issued the following statement:
“On World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Canada joins the international community to denounce the heinous crime of human trafficking.”
“The International Labour Organization estimates that close to 21 million people in the world, mostly women and girls, have been the victims of traffickers who treat human beings as mere commodities to exploit for financial gain.”
“In Canada, most victims are also women and girls. Vulnerable groups at risk include Indigenous women, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) youth, migrants, runaways and at-risk youth. They are often lured away by false promises of a better life and end up thrust into a nightmare of sexual exploitation, forced labour, domestic servitude and abuse.”
“The Government of Canada works with provinces and territories, Indigenous communities, law enforcement, community organizations and international partners to combat human trafficking and raise awareness. We contribute to a multitude of international efforts to stop the scourge of human trafficking and help survivors and we will further support such work through our feminist international assistance policy.”
“Human trafficking is an abhorrent attack on human dignity and basic human rights. The Government of Canada is committed to bringing those who commit this crime to justice and to helping survivors go on to lead healthy and productive lives.”

A rag doll is a children’s toy. It is a cloth figure, a doll traditionally home-made from (and stuffed with) spare scraps of material. They are one of the longest-standing children’s toys in existence; the British Museum has a Roman rag doll, found in a child’s grave dating from the 1st-5th century AD.[1] Amish dolls are a type of traditional American rag dolls which originated as children’s toys among the Old Order Amish people. The best-known type have no facial features. Today, many rag dolls are commercially produced to simulate the features of the original home-made dolls, such as simple features, soft cloth bodies, and patchwork clothing.
Rag dolls have featured in a number of children’s stories, like the 19th century character Golliwogg, Raggedy Ann in the 1918 book by Johnny Gruelle and the British children’s television series Bagpuss Ragdolly Anna and the popular “Raggybaggy”. The character of Sally from the Tim Burton film The Nightmare Before Christmas is also a rag doll.

Interpol has an annual budget of around €113 million, most of which is provided through annual contributions by its membership of police forces in 192 countries (as of 2017). In 2013, the Interpol General Secretariat employed a staff of 756, representing 100 member countries.[1] Its current Secretary-General is Jürgen Stock, the former deputy head of Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office. The Magdalene is praised for anointing His feet and preparing His body for the Ressurection of Jesus Christ. She wraps Jesus in perfumes linens using special spices to fold and remove His exhaustion. He is the largest part of Christendom acting as the people’s Sun. The Magdalene is a source of knowledge that is said to be a separate body of information. Generally not included in discussion about Christianity but used as a liaison for mission management of the larger religious community of Yahweh.

Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation I found out that my Christ is an Ojibwa minister.

The cure for human trafficking is as follows:
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” (Matthew 24: 40)

“O God, we are in awe of your grace – creative enough to raise up in every generation, and in our midst, witnesses to take up the torch of your passion and purposes to lead this human family of yours and ours on our common exodus to justice. Strengthen us to confront the reality of human trafficking that we will bring freedom to all our brothers and sisters. Amen.

The Rag Doll Project:
The Rag Doll Project raises awareness about human trafficking in Durham Region and around the world. The rag dolls symbolize the many lives which are too easily cast aside through exploitation in the form of sexual exploitation, forced labour and organ removal. The rag dolls remind us to pray and work for victims.

Entrance to the Church
The church is dedicated to Mary Magdalene, a follower of Jesus. According to the sixteenth chapter of the Gospel of Mark, Mary Magdalene was the first to see Christ after his resurrection (Mark 16:9). She is considered a crucial and important disciple of Jesus, and seemingly his primary female associate, along with Mary of Bethany, whom some believe to have been the same woman.[1]

Church of Mary Magdalene
The church was built in 1886 by Tsar Alexander III to honor his mother, Empress Maria Alexandrovna of Russia. It was constructed to David Grimm’s design in the traditional tented roof style popular in 16th- and 17th-century Russia, and includes seven distinctive, gilded onion domes. The convent is located directly across the Kidron Valley from the Temple Mount.

The relics of two martyred saints, Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna of Russia and her fellow nun Varvara Yakovleva, are displayed in the church.[2]

In the 1930s, Princess Alice of Battenberg, mother of the Duke of Edinburgh, visited the church and asked to be buried near her aunt, the Grand-Duchess Elizabeth. In 1969, she died at Buckingham Palace. In 1988, her remains were transferred to a crypt below the church.[3]

A doctorate (from Latin docere, “to teach”) or doctor’s degree (from Latin doctor, “teacher”) or doctoral degree (from the ancient formalism licentia docendi) is an academic degree awarded by universities that is, in most countries, a research degree that qualifies the holder to teach at the university level in the degree’s field, or to work in a specific profession. There are a variety of doctoral degrees, with the most common being the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which is awarded in many different fields, ranging from the humanities to the scientific disciplines. There are also some doctorates in the US, such as the Juris Doctor (JD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) which are generally regarded internationally as professional degrees rather than doctorates, as they are not research degrees and no defense of any dissertation or thesis is performed. Many universities also award honorary doctorates to individuals who have been deemed worthy of special recognition, either for scholarly work or for other contributions to the university or to society.

My idea is to create a project on my WordPress blog to talk about human trafficking in words of inspiration.
I was thinking about researching some of Durham Region’s most quiet stories about people who come in contact with crime. There are fascinating stories that I come across everyday that I’d like to share with the World.
For example: the underground maze of tunnels built by former Canadian Intelligence Service agents leading or connected to Casa Loma.
This General was was found in a hole nearby the football stadium by York University holding a torn teddy bear and a doll. Rescuers say there were a few more items inside the hole including a spoon.
You know, sometimes professionals go to war and they spend years preoccupied with a strange occurrence that shows up mentally years later.
I’ll find the story and post it online for you as a case study. I truly enjoy blogging about Canadian history, it’s people and our rare treasures.

Remember it’s about Queen Noor and the baby elephant?

Mental health in the fine arts community

Wikipedia defines Fine Art as follows:

For the Go software, see Fine Art (software).

Self-Portrait with Two Circles, oil on canvas, Rembrandt, c. 1665–1669.

Black Square, oil on canvas, Kazimir Malevich, 1923–29
In European academic traditions, fine art is art developed primarily for aesthetics or beauty, distinguishing it from applied art that also has to serve some practical function, such as pottery or most metalwork.

Historically, the five main fine arts were painting, sculpture, architecture, music, and poetry, with performing arts including theatre and dance.[1] Today, the fine arts commonly include additional forms, such as film, photography, video production/editing, design, sequential art, conceptual art, and printmaking. However, in some institutes of learning or in museums, fine art and frequently the term fine arts (pl.) as well, are associated exclusively with visual art forms.[citation needed]

One definition of fine art is “a visual art considered to have been created primarily for aesthetic and intellectual purposes and judged for its beauty and meaningfulness, specifically, painting, sculpture, drawing, watercolor, graphics, and architecture.”[2] In that sense, there are conceptual differences between the fine arts and the applied arts. As originally conceived, and as understood for much of the modern era, the perception of aesthetic qualities required a refined judgment usually referred to as having good taste, which differentiated fine art from popular art and entertainment.[3]

The word “fine” does not so much denote the quality of the artwork in question, but the purity of the discipline according to traditional Western European canons.[citation needed] This definition originally excluded the applied or decorative arts, and the products of what were regarded as crafts. In contemporary practice these distinctions and restrictions have become essentially meaningless, as the concept or intention of the artist is given primacy, regardless of the means through which this is expressed.[citation needed]
